Sean Pollard Officially A Paralympian

Bunbury's Sean Pollard has just missed out on a Quarterfinals spot in his first event at the Pyeongchang Paralympics.

Pollard missed qualifying by just 0.13 seconds against Italy's Jacopo Luchini in the Men's Snowboard Cross Upper Limb category.

During qualification, Pollard's second run was his best, placing him 7th overall.

He has one more event to come on Friday, in the Snowboard Banked Slalom.

Fellow South West Paralympian Shaun Pianta will start his Pyeongchang campaign on Wednesday when he competes in the Men's Alpine Skiing Visually Impaired event, set to start at approximately 8:30am WA time.
